This hotel is incredibly convenient, located very close to the town center and just a short walk from Niigata station. The staff are friendly and provide great service. The rooms are clean and well-equipped with basic amenities. The breakfast options are delicious and worth trying.

Despite some concerns mentioned in other reviews, our recent stay at Hotel Sunroute was fantastic. The staff was friendly and accommodating, helping us secure a taxi for our early morning trip to Sado Island. The room was clean and well air-conditioned, providing a comfortable environment throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and amenities.

The location was perfect for Easter weekend in Niigata. We were able to easily walk to the city center and all the festivities. the staff was very helpful in arranging transportation to nearby attractions. The room was also very clean and well-maintained throughout our stay.
The only downside was the size of the bathroom. It was a bit small and cramped, which can be challenging for some guests.

Walking distance from transportation, restaurants, and shops nearby. the inclusive breakfast was tasty with an assorted variety of western and Japanese dishes. the room amenities, such as the mini-fridge, were convenient and the size was good for one or two people.
The language barrier was evident with the front desk and they were not very helpful with questions. the pricing structure for double occupancy rooms was not very clear and seemed higher than other hotels in the area with similar amenities.

Additionally, it is not far from Niigata station, so getting around is easy. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The basic amenities provided in the room were sufficient, and the breakfast selection was extensive and satisfying.
No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

We loved the strategic location of the hotel which was very close to the train station and the town center. It was very easy to get around this city from here. The hotel facilities were great with comfortable bedding and spacious rooms. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food options.

The hotel had a strong, stale smoke smell throughout the non-smoking rooms, which detracted from the otherwise positive experience.
